Halloween

I'm going to interrupt the San Diego posts for a quick post about Halloween!  Yesterday was so much fun!  We started off our holiday by going to Dustin's work in the late afternoon to do a little trick or treating there.  Our kids were definitely the hit of the office!  Max really got into trick or treating.  He'd be nervous at first to go up to people, but once he figured out that people were giving him candy he thought it was awesome!  He would not let go of his candy bucket.  It got too heavy for him but he wouldn't let me hold it so he was just dragging it around the office. 

When we got home from that the sun was already setting and there were already trick or treaters out in our neighbor hood.  So I snapped a few quick pictures of them and Dustin took the kids trick-or-treating around the block and I handed out candy.  Our street is so fun.  So many houses were decorated, and most people sat out on their driveway to hand out the candy.  We get a lot of kids on our street too, our candy was almost completely gone and we only handed out candy for about an hour.  I had bought one of the big costco bags too. 

When our candy was gone and it had died down a bit outside we brought the kids inside to watch It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.  Then they went to bed at 8:00. 

It was a perfect Halloween in my book!
