Just some pics of Kate (who else?)

Lately I have been wasting a lot of time in Photoshop. I'm having lots of fun figuring it out and learning new techniques. These aren't the best pictures, but I had a blast creating them. I have a very basic camera, so it's hard to get the results I want with it. Believe it or not I actually do own a Canon SLR. Dustin and I bought it when we took a photography class back in college. Only problem is that it's a film camera. Yeah. It's basically obselete now. I've always wanted to purchase a digital one, but never have. Maybe I'll add "get the camera I've always wanted" to my list of new year's resolutions. Anyway, I thought these pictures turned out kind of cute and I thought I would post them.


There is actually a story behind this little red dress. I originally bought it 3-ish years ago when I found out my friend Alicia was having a little girl. Well, obviously I was a horrible friend and never gave it to her (sorry Eash) but I always kept it because I thought it was so cute and I wanted it for my little girl. Over the years I would come across it and smile, imagining my litte girl wearing it. Then, when I found out that I was having a little girl, I was so excited that I already had something for her. This is also the dress that inspired me to decorate Kate's room in ladybugs.
Yesterday, I was organizing boxes of Kates clothes and I found it! I had completely forgotten about it! I looked at the tag and realized that it's now the perfect size for Kate.
