Congratulations Lacie!

This weekend we attempted our first visit home since the baby was born. Dustin's youngest sister Lacie was graduating and we didn't want to miss it! It was cold on Friday night, so we dropped Kate off at my mom's house, and went to graduation. We were a little late, but we were there for the important part. All throughout graduation, the family waited and contemplated how loud to yell for Lacie. We waited in anticipation through all the A's, J's, S, T's and U's...finally the moment came for Lacie. But when the moment came, the announcer called "Lacie Wilson"! Wilson?!? The only one who cheered was Dustin. He was yelling "Yeah Lacie! Wooo!" while Sherice was yelling "No wait! That's the wrong one!" at Dustin. It was, of course, supposed to be Lacie Watson, the announcer just read it wrong. Haha. They'll put the correct name on your diploma, right?

Sherice, Dustin and I put together a little "College Survival Kit" for Lacie. She's heading to the big EAC in the fall, and we thought she could use a little help. The kit included Otter Pops, Kool-Aid, toilet paper, a plunger, Easy Mac, Top Ramen, cups, plates, and Pop Tarts.

So, Dearest Lacie, here is some advice:

-Hang on to every quarter you find. You'll need it for laundry.
-Don't take an 8:00 course. You'll never go.
-Don't take too many late night Hileberto's runs. It's the fastest way to gain the freshman 15.
-EA is a junior college. It should only take two years to complete. If a guy has been there for more than 4 years- he is only looking for a wife. STAY AWAY.
-If you don't want to get married. Date the premies (guys who haven't been on missions yet).
-Don't follow in the footsteps of your older siblings. You know what I mean. (wink wink)
-But mainly, HAVE FUN!

CONGRATUALTIONS LACIE! WE LOVE YOU!
