It turns out it's actually a lot easier now. You just need to go to settings-scroll down to global settings- and select the "updated editor". Now when you upload pictures you can mouse over them and choose the size you want. X large fits this blog really well. For my photo blog, it's little more tricky.

Erin I love that second picture of Kate holding her dress or shirt or whatever it is...we should get that one printed large to hang.

Your pictures are looking great! Crazy how much there is to learn about photog eh? Just when you think you know enough "just for now", you see something else that totally sparks hours and hours scouring the internet for more info. Love it! Keep it up, they look great!
