I don't have any pictures of this first incident, but I still feel like it needs to be written down. Lately I've been getting bigger and bigger, which means I have less and less energy. Translation= Kate gets into more and more trouble because she knows mommy doesn't have the energy to keep a constant eye on her. Well, two days ago, she found my scissors! Not just any scisscors-- my super expensive, super nice, hair cutting shears! And-- you guessed it-- she had cut her hair. Luckily it's not in a noticeable spot. She had only cut into the top layer of her hair and you can't see it unless you really know what you're looking for. Well, when I realized she had my shears, I immediately yelled at her
"No! Don't drop the scissors!"
Once you drop shears, the warranty is voided and they never work the same again. So I was, sad to say, way more worried about my shears than I was about my daughter's well being.
I took the shears, put them in a safe spot, and scolded Kate for playing with them. To which she looked me straight in the eye and said,
"I need a haircut Mom!".
Oh my goodness.
Incident two. Yesterday Kate was playing in the front room and I was probably on the computer. I hear Kate yell, "CHEESE!" and I look over to see this:
haha. They really do watch everything you do!
I'm usually wearing pants though.
