Kate had her first adventure with crayons yesterday. She's always finding pens and markers around the house and trying to draw with them, so I finally decided to show her the "proper" way. I found some crayons in one of our closets (actually an old set from our primary days....whoops), gave her some paper and let her go to town! Needless to say, she thought it was the greatest thing ever!
Hmmm...what should I draw?
This is the face she made when I said "Smile!"
This made me laugh so hard. This is where she always puts the food she doesn't want to eat. Well, I guess these were the ugly colors she didn't want to color with!
It wasn't long before she discovered how yummy they were.
When she started feasting on the crayons I took her out of her high chair. I was checking my email and turned to see this:
Apparently I didn't put them away well enough.
I said "Kate! Please pick those up!" Which, she actually has been doing well at lately.
This wasn't exactly what I had in mind. But at least we got our first refridgerator art piece!
